Notary Pilot helps notaries manage appointments, clients, invoices, journal entries, expenses and mileage. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in details.
- Business data you enter: clients, appointments, invoices, journal entries, expenses, mileage trips, tasks and commission details.
- Support messages: anything you send through our contact form or by email.
- Payment status: whether your subscription is active. Card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your information to run the service, sign you in, send account emails (such as confirmation and password reset), process your subscription, and answer support requests. We do not sell your data.
Your data belongs to you
The client and journal records you enter are yours. They are visible only to your signed-in account. You are responsible for following your state's notary laws on record keeping and on protecting your signers' personal information.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to host the app and database, send email, and process payments. They handle data only to provide those services.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. If a trial or subscription ends, your data is preserved but access is locked until you subscribe. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us through the contact form.
Security
We use access controls so each account can reach only its own records. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique sign-in and avoid entering more sensitive information than you need.
