Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
By creating an account or using Notary Pilot, you agree to these terms.
The service
Notary Pilot is a workspace for notaries to manage appointments, clients, invoices, journal entries, expenses and mileage. It is a record-keeping and business tool. It is not legal advice.
Trial and billing
- New accounts get a free 3-day trial.
- After the trial, access requires a subscription at $55 per month, billed through Stripe.
- If the trial ends or a subscription is not active, your account is locked. Your data is preserved and access returns when you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time. Contact us through the contact form.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
- You must follow your state's notary laws, including journal and record-keeping requirements. Notary Pilot does not guarantee that using it satisfies those requirements. Check your state's rules and keep any backups you need.
- Keep your sign-in secure and do not share your account.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to interfere with it.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, Notary Pilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from lost data or missed deadlines such as commission renewals. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
